The agreeable village of Gaburnitsa is situated 39 km west of the centre of Varna city and only 17 minutes driving from Varna International Airport on the new (A2 Hemus) Varna-Sofia motorway. (From the Airport roundabout on to  the motorway and off again at the Gaburnitsa roundabout).  It's as simple as that.  The village centre is situated only 700 m from the roundabout  in a beautiful hilly region nearby the large town of Provadia, with all the amenities that the town has to offer. The new golf course is now under construction nearby and there is easy access to, (within a few minutes), a post office, a good fishing lake is just up the motorway, a school, active churches, a community centre, a medical point, a dentist, shops, pubs, Cable Television, Internet, and a clean, on-time, regular bus service to other towns ...  and the Sea Gardens and sandy beach of the Black Sea Coast at Varna are only 30 minutes away down the motorway.

    There is a very interesting museum complex in the village of Gaburnitsa (Mehana Rodna Stryaha) and a large tavern in which visitors can see objects of country life and customs of Bulgaria, with demonstrations of knitting work. A local folklore "Ensemble" performs national customs, songs and dances. Guest can go horse-back riding, or a carriage outing and can take a part in the agricultural work. The farm is situated in a courtyard over 100 years old. The restaurant provides a huge variety of home made traditional Bulgarian dishes and drinks, plus a wide range of international dishes. The Mehana complex is a few minutes walk away from our Peace Haven Complex.

  A new hotel complex is to be built in Gabarnitsa village spread over 5 courtyards with a garden and barbeque. The project should be finished by 2009 and spreading over 3.5 decares to further enhance the popularity of the village.

    Gaburnitsa is a Peace Haven of rural bliss within minutes of the thriving metropolis of Varna which has every modern convenience, from miles of golden sands for the young, to a dynamic night life, from the Opera House to Olde-Time live variety cabarets, to lively clubs and swinging discos.  Something for everyone of whatever age group.

      The latest project under way for this area is for Varna to have a ski run with a covering of artificial snow. The ambitious project will include an all-year-round winter sports centre with an ice rink. Varna's Mayor Yordanov pointed out that his goal is for the city to have a hockey team and winter sportsmen good enough to compete with those of much colder Sofia.
