The village of Varbyane is located in North-East Bulgaria, Kaspichan Municipality of Shumen District. Varbyane Post (ZIP) code 9943. Area size 16.688 km2. Phone code 05326. Population 327 folk. The village is 49 miles from Varna city and the Black Sea, 44 miles of this being on a motorway and the other on 5 miles on newly surfaced roads. Travelling by car is less than an hour to the city centre. Buses go to all the other villages and busy major towns like Shumen, and there is a train station at Kaspichan. The Danube River, Balkan Mountains, National Parks and Winter Ski Resorts are within easy reach. The house is a mile from the archaeological ruins of Pliska, the original capital of Ancient Bulgaria. Varbyane offers the following amenities: a Post office, a school, a library, a grocery store/cafe, and two pubs.
