Haworth Moor is sweetly blooming,
And the blue bilberries,
Call me back upon the moor land

We could build a dry stone bower,
Near a stream of tumbling waters,
And on it we can place,
Berries for our sons and daughters,
Will you go, a' gathering go?

Should that cold Pennine wind,
Blow around our humble dwelling,
We will sit round the fire,
Raise our voice in chorus swelling,
