------------ NEW PHOTOS Hello Jed, please find attached photo showing Skipsey with another local lad John (Res) Reid in 1961 in Chapel-le-Dale. We were setting off to visit Colt Park. It must have been Sunday because Skipsey has got his suit on. Note our transport, a Reliant van which belonged to Skipsey's father. Res Reid accompanied us on many caving trips notably in Dent Dale where we systematically explored all the caves including the discovery of the cave named later by others as Ibbeth Peril. Anyway NSG not Black Rose got the credit because it was after NSG amalgamation. Also me on my Gold Star trials machine at Douk Gill 1962 taken by Skipsey. Although unaware of it we were heading for the deep freeze winter (note the tax running out Jan 1963)! Also attached is another picture showing Black Rose people at one of your favorite sites!! - Spectacle Pot - I have forgotten who they are. I think the girl is local. Maybe you can identify.
